The Rutgers Club Annual Summer Send-off  for newly admitted students from our area will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Vintage Restaurant in the Club at Morgan Hill, 100 Clubhouse Drive, Easton, PA.

This year’s student group, the Class of 2015, will be comprised of 16 graduates from 11 high schools in the Lehigh Valley.  Included in this group will be the recipient of the first Rutgers Club of Lehigh Valley scholarship award, Andrew H. Trinker.  Andrew is a graduate of Easton Area High School and was the Class of 2011 valedictorian.  Andrew has enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers.   In addition to this presentation, student ambassadors from the university will be in attendance greet the Class of 2015 members and share information and insights with them. As usual, Club members will also salute the students with a classic rendition of the Alma Mater.

Sharing our pride in Rutgers is one of the basic goals of this event. The Club hopes that you will set time aside on this morning to share food and friendship with these young people as they head off to their first experiences as Scarlet Knights.
