The Rutgers Club of Lehigh Valley returns to the Brewworks-On-The-Green for a Final Friday Happy Hour celebrating, among other things, the close of the Lehigh Valley Alumni Clubs food drive challenge. Alumni clubs representing Purdue and Penn State have been invited to join us in an hour or two of food, drink and friendship brought about by the effort to solicit donations in support of the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Beginning at 5:30 PM, the Happy Hour at the Brewworks -On-The-Green on the grounds of the Allentown Municipal Golf Course at 3400 Tilghman Street in Allentown will feature the usual $3.00 specials on well drinks, flagship beers and wine as well as $5.00 apps including Bavarian pretzels, BREWschetta, Wings and more.

Set aside an hour for your own pleasure and then pick up the phone and invite another member to join you for the evening. We may even get Roger to lead us in another round of “On The Banks Of The Old Raritan.”

No one will object if you bring along another donation for Second Harvest, even though the challenge is over. See you soon!!
